Allie Cabrera discovered the transformative power of meditation in her early 20s, igniting a passion for mindfulness and self-discovery. Initially drawn to yoga to connect with her lifelong love of rhythm and movement, her appreciation for the practice deepened as she explored its meditative aspects. Yoga became a profound source of healing and stability, inspiring her to share its benefits with others.  

About Allie Cabrera (E-RYT 500)

After earning a bachelor’s degree in communications, Allie began teaching corporate yoga, balancing a traditional job with her desire to build a career in wellness. She joined LifeTime Fitness, where she worked full-time for five years, gaining valuable experience as a top-performing instructor. She later transitioned to Down Under School of Yoga, where she helped launch and manage two new locations in collaboration with Life Alive. Currently, Allie teaches at Equinox locations across Boston while focusing her energy on developing her own business, Allie Lee Yoga Collective.  

In addition to her public classes, Allie collaborates with non-profit organizations to bring yoga to diverse communities. She has taught internationally and worked with schools, community centers, and athletic programs, as well as first responders and military personnel. Passionate about accessibility, she is expanding her teaching to shelters and hospitals to share yoga’s healing benefits with those who need it most.  

Allie’s teaching style blends compassion, authenticity, and a deep respect for the mind-body connection. Her classes integrate mindfulness, breath awareness, and dynamic movement, creating a supportive environment where students of all levels can explore their practice and cultivate inner balance.
